I’m taking on the May 50K Challenge together with colleagues from The Netherlands Brain Bank and the Neuroimmunology Research Group at the Nederlands Herseninstituut 🧠🔬

My goal is to walk 100 km on top of my regular daily walking throughout the month of May to raise funds for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) research. All donations will support national and international research through Stichting MS Research (who also fund my PhD project!) and the MS International Federation!

MS is a chronic autoimmune disease affecting over 2.9 million people worldwide. It can cause various symptoms including muscle weakness, vision changes, numbness, and memory issues. Although treatment can help manage symptoms and slow disease progression, there is no cure for MS.
